🌟 Minimum One Year of Dedicated Service: Your company must have at least one year of dedicated service in the wedding industry to be eligible for membership.
🌟 Valid Business License: Please provide a current business license or written confirmation if it's not required in your business location.
🌟 Liability Insurance: Demonstrate your commitment to quality service by carrying liability insurance for your business.
As part of the application process, all applicants are required to deliver a 5-minute presentation at a membership meeting. During this presentation, you will have the opportunity to introduce your company, showcase your website, share a video, read client reviews, or perform a demonstration—whatever best represents your business.
Following your presentation, guests will be asked to leave for the evening. The membership will then engage in an open floor discussion, during which your sponsor(s) will provide additional insights. A private vote will subsequently be conducted. The results of this vote will be communicated to you that evening and maintained on record.
New Membership Fee: $250 (prorated for the month the application is received).
Each Additional Company: $50
Application Fee: $25 (non-refundable).
New Membership fees are $250 (prorated) plus a one-time $25 non-refundable application fee.
The annual membership renewal fee is $200.
If your company provides more than one service, we offer the option to advertise your company in more than one vendor category for an additional $50 yearly fee for each additional category listing.

The General Membership of Shenandoah Wedding Professionals determines final acceptance. If one or more members have an objection to membership the objection will be reviewed by the Membership Committee. The Chairman of the Membership Committee will report to The Board of Directors on the Committee's findings. The Board will then determine whether to resubmit the application to the General Membership. A 2/3 majority of the attending membership must vote to accept the application for it to pass.
